Bank feeds from Brex, Meow and Wise Business

Kept with Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor

AI-ready, all the way down.

Everything you can do in Frac, your AI assistant can do too. Frac is an MCP server with 31 tools, from reading the P&L to categorizing, matching transfers and closing the month.

Add one URL to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor, sign in, and choose the company and whether your assistant may write. Frac itself runs no AI, so a number never changes because a model guessed.

How to connect each assistant
Your assistantConnected to Frac, read & write
  1. What's our runway on a six-month average?

    frac · get_runway

19 months. You've burned $41,200 a month on average since April, against $782,400 across Brex, Meow and Wise.

  2. Categorize whatever is still uncategorized from September.

    frac · list_transactionsfrac · categorize_transaction ×3

Done. Northwind Studio went to Contractors, Linear to Software & SaaS, and the registered agent fee to Taxes & Government Fees. Each one is now a rule, so October's land on their own.

An example conversation. Your assistant calls Frac’s tools; Frac does the bookkeeping.

Books that keep themselves.

Bank feeds sync twice a day, or whenever you press Sync. Every line lands in a category by rules, checked in this order, and the first one that knows wins.

No model decides anything. The same line gets the same category every time, and you can always see why.

  1. Rules you taught it

Every category you pick becomes a rule for that payee, past lines and future ones. Each rule is listed on one page, and any of them can be forgotten.

  2. What the bank marks

Brex flags its fees, Wise flags cashback and interest. Frac takes the bank’s word for it.

  3. Your team’s names

Money out to a founder is founder pay. Money in from a founder is tracked as owed back to them.

  4. Hundreds of startup vendors

AWS, Vercel, GitHub, Gusto, Figma and the rest of what a SaaS company pays, each mapped to the account an investor expects to see it in.

  5. You, once

Whatever is left waits for a person, marked uncategorized. Frac never guesses, and your one click is step one from then on.

$0 a month

Free for every startup.

Every feature, every bank feed and every report, for every company you run. No card to start, no seats to count, no trial that runs out.

Built for a startup, not a shop.

Frac assumes what’s true of a venture-backed SaaS company: a Delaware C-corp, SAFEs instead of a bank loan, founders who sometimes pay on their own card, and investors who ask about burn.

Built for

  • Venture-backed SaaS startups
  • Delaware C-corps
  • One to three founders, no bookkeeper
  • Banking on Brex, Meow or Wise

Not built for

  • Retail shops, agencies and restaurants
  • Inventory, point of sale or invoicing
  • Running payroll or paying bills
  • LLCs, S-corps, or several entities combined

Everything else a founder needs from the books.

A dashboard for founders

Cash across every bank, burn this month against the same days last month, runway, revenue over the last 30 days, and twelve months of income against expense.

Runway, five ways

Burn and runway on last month, the 3-, 6- or 12-month average, or the year to date, with what-ifs for a one-time spend and the monthly revenue you expect.

Financial statements

Profit and loss, balance sheet with working capital, cash flow, trial balance and general ledger. Each one exports to CSV.

Real double-entry books

Every number is a balanced journal entry. Opening balances, SAFE conversions and corrections go in through a debit and credit grid, with reversals for fixes.

Transfers between your banks

Matched automatically when the amounts and dates line up, and suggested when they don’t. Currency differences and fees are booked, never absorbed.

Multi-currency, via Wise

One account per Wise currency, converted at Wise’s own historical rate. The books always balance in US dollars.

Receipts on every line

Attach a PDF, PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 10 MB to any transaction, for your tax preparer, an audit or due diligence.

Paid it personally? Say so

Add a transaction in plain words, including one a founder paid out of pocket. It’s tracked until the company pays them back.

Year-end close

An owner closes the books through a date, and nothing in that period can change after. One click bundles the year’s P&L, balance sheet, trial balance and general ledger for your tax preparer.

Your co-founder too

Invite a co-founder as an owner or a member. One sign-in can run several companies and switch between them.

How Frac keeps your books safe

Each company’s books, sealed off

Companies are kept apart by the database itself, with Postgres row-level security, not just by the app’s code. A request for one company’s books can’t read another’s.

Bank credentials encrypted at rest

The API keys you paste from Brex, Meow and Wise are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they’re stored. Only an owner of the company can change them.

Sign in with GitHub or Google

There’s no Frac password to leak. Sessions end after 7 days, and signing out ends one at once.

Questions founders ask.

All questions

Is Frac really free?

Yes. Every feature, every bank feed and every report is free, for every company you run. There’s no card to enter, no seat count and no trial that runs out.

Who is Frac for?

Venture-backed SaaS startups: a Delaware C-corp with one to three founders, no bookkeeper, and a bank account at Brex, Meow or Wise. If you run a shop, an agency or a restaurant, Frac isn’t built for you: there’s no inventory, point of sale or invoicing.

Do I still need a bookkeeper or an accountant?

Not to keep the books: Frac books every line by rules and asks you about the rest. You’ll still want a tax preparer at year end. Frac doesn’t file taxes, but it bundles the year’s statements and general ledger for your preparer in one click.

Which banks does Frac connect to?

Brex (checking and card, pending card charges included), Meow (business checking) and Wise Business (every currency balance). You connect each one by pasting an API key from the bank into Frac. Mercury, a CSV statement upload for any other bank, and one-click bank connect are coming soon.

Does Frac use AI to categorize transactions?

No. Frac runs no AI. A transaction is categorized by, in order: the rules you’ve taught it, what the bank marks, your team’s names, and a table of hundreds of startup vendors. Anything left waits for you, and your one click becomes a rule. The same transaction gets the same category every time.

What does AI-ready mean?

Your AI assistant can work in your books as fully as you can. Frac is an MCP server with 31 tools, so Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor can read every report, categorize and split transactions, match transfers, add entries, attach receipts and, for owners, close the books, under the same rules as the app. Frac itself runs no AI, so a number never changes because a model guessed.

How do I connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor?

Frac is an MCP server. Add https://my.usefrac.app/api/mcp as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor, sign in, pick the company, and choose read-only or read and write. You can disconnect it from Frac at any time.

Is my data safe?

Each company’s books are kept apart by the database itself, with row-level security. Bank credentials are encrypted at rest, the database is backed up nightly, and sessions end after 7 days. Frac isn’t SOC 2 certified.
